How to apply
Apply to SIM:
First, contact our SIM Student Advisors to discuss your application, which includes meeting the academic and English language entry requirements for your selected SIM E-Learning program.
Complete SIM program:
Complete the required number and combination of SIM E-Learning courses with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% or higher to meet UNSW's academic entry requirements
Application to UNSW:
Apply to articulate to the corresponding UNSW Online master's degree.
Admission to UNSW:
Upon successful admission, receive the 20% fee savings on the remaining UNSW Online courses to graduate with a master's degree. Save up to 35% in total versus undertaking the full UNSW master's degree, from start to finish.
Please note:
Students studying UNSW Online master's degrees are not eligible for an Australian student visa (subclass 500) or a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485)
The award is only available to non-Australian and non-New Zealand citizens

The dates below apply to students starting their postgraduate studies at the Singapore Institute of Management E-Learning (SIM) before moving to selected master's degrees online at UNSW Sydney.

Frequently asked questions
To be eligible for the Award, you must first complete 4-6 courses from designated SIM programs.
Once you achieve a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% or higher, you can transition to selected UNSW Online master’s degrees.
You will then finish 6-8 UNSW courses and earn a distinguished master’s qualification.
Note: Admission to UNSW Sydney requires successful completion of a SIM Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (E-Learning) and meeting UNSW's entry requirements.
Prepare your resume, diploma certificate and transcript (if any) bachelor certificate and transcript alongside IELTS/TOEFL results (if available).
Email your documents to eligibility@postgradonline.simge.edu.sg to receive a complimentary eligibility check.
To apply for UNSW articulation, you will need to submit:
- Proof of citizenship/residency: current passport, birth certificate, or citizenship certificate. · Official SIM academic transcripts.
- Official proof of completion certificates for any previous study.
- Evidence of any incomplete studies.
- An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae, including month and year of service dates.
If your documents or academic transcripts are not in English, include both the original language documents and complete English translations. For more details on accepted translations, refer to the Certification and translation of documents page at UNSW.
